As I'm sure you can tell Ernie Von Schmaltz is a ladies man. Ernie can be seen performing, seducing women and taking off his clothes all over Seattle and surrounding suburban swing clubs. He's been entertaining the women publicly since the middle of 2005, but has been satisfying in private since the beginning of time... He and his babes, The Von Foxies have been around a few blocks together. The Von Foxies won the title of Best Troupe at the 2007 Miss Exotic World Pageant in Las Vegas, though Ernie wasn't there at the time. Armitage Shanks is an International Compere, Singer and Performer. He is also the Co-Founder of Circus Contraption, a one-ring traveling circus at the forefront of the "New Circus" movement. His recent credits include the London Burlesque Festival, The Supper Club and Paleis Van De Weemoed (Amsterdam), Absolut Burlesque Ball (Dublin), The New York Burlesque Festival, Le Scandal and The Slipper Room (NY) as well as a tour of Portugal with Circus Contraption. Armitage Shanks was featured in the January 2009 issue of Playboy France, Dans (Netherlands premier performance magazine), and Time Out London, which hailed hims as "One of the darkest-hearted comperes on the burlesque circuit- not only a biting ringmaster, but a unique singer as well". Kellita Of Hot Pink Feathers
Ecstatic, exuberant shimmy-shaker extraordinaire, Kellita is Queen of Carnaval San Francisco 2008. Her Spanish grandmother routinely danced flamenco on tabletops while her Lebanese aunt entertained vaudeville audiences as The Chocolate Princess with her signature hula striptease dance. Kellita continues the tradition of interpreting world dance through a showgirl lens. When not directing and performing with her 9 year-old award-winning dance troupe, Hot Pink Feathers, Kellita delights audiences with her captivating solo acts. Her accolades include the Little Miss Aftershock title from Miss Exotic World Contest 2002 for outstanding shimmy-shake and 2 Golden Pastie Awards from the New York Burlesque Festival: Best Derriere (2004) and Most Sensual (2009). Kellita is the proud Head Feather of the Hot Pink Feathers Showgirl Academy and this year alone, has taught and performed in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco and Oakland. Lux LaCroix
Lux LaCroix is an award winning burlesque performer, documentary filmmaker, professional dancer and choreographer. Professionally she has choreographed and danced with artists such as Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Kanye West and OutKast. She has danced in several New York and Los Angeles venues such as The Orpheum, Nokia Live, Webster Hall, The Derby, The Slipper Room, and Coney Island. Lux is also a regular performer in the Mexican Wrestling and Saucy Striptease extravaganza known as Lucha VaVOOM! Lux has been a featured performer the past five years at the New York Burlesque Festival. In 2008, she was named Miss Exotic World's 1st Runner-Up as well as "Most Dazzling Performer". In addition to performing on a regular basis, Lux also teaches the art of burlesque dancing in her Bump & Grind 101 class series which was recently featured in the reality television show, "Models of the Runway."
Kira von Sutra
Performing for audiences from the tender age of 2, Kira von Sutra has come a long way from her roots as a classically trained ballet and jazz dancer, and is "becoming one of the most recognized and upcoming Burlesque acts in the country", according to Cheesecake Magazine. Beginning her career in 2003 with Oklahoma's first Burlesque revival troupe, the Spiderlillies, the "Green Queen" quickly became known for her exaggerated facial expressions, subtle and sexy humor, and artful sexual satire. Combining traditional burlesque with her love of campy horror, glam kitsch and a heaping serving of good ol' rock n roll has earned her not only a dedicated (and steadily growing) cult following, but also opening spots for national touring acts like the Reverend Horton Heat and "hillbilly vampire" Unknown Hinson. After co-managing both the Aloha Pussycats and the Atomic Pussycats, and performing at the 1st Annual Tulsa Tattoo Convention, Kira relocated to Vegas, competing in Viva Las Vegas '07. Kira has performed with some of burlesque's most exciting and enticing acts including Cardinal Cyn, La Cholita, Waxie Moon, and has studied traditional fan dancing under renowned performer Catherine D'lish. A veteran performer with six states under her belt, the "Green Queen", now in LA and newly armed with degrees in make-up and hairstyling from Westmore Makeup Academy, is setting her sights high for the future. The goal: Nothing less than total world domination.
